Web 2.0 project

Think about our current state of technology. Web 2.0 has broken down the barriers between our spheres of socializing, entertainment and work. For the next weeks watch yourself and your friends use cameras, computers, phones, T.V.'s, games, and whatever else it is you "kids" are into these days. Can you combine / juxtapose/ subvert / hack / elevate our tools and and social spheres into a game space?

Each student will submit a short written proposal. You do not need to know exactly how to implement your game, but it should be something that is potentially attainable. (I love Bees, for example is probably too large in scope.) Whereas the Pong project was borrowing from a previous game, I want this project to be as unique as possible. Try to think of something that hasn't been done to death already.
All that is required is a written paragraph or so, but if you would like to also present drawings, diagrams or animations to explain your idea that's terrific.

After everyone has done a proposal we will split into groups and those groups will select one game to work on, or come up with a new game inspired by the games presented. We will try to have a variety of talents in each group.

The game does not have to involve Processing, or any programming at all if you don't want it to. The arduinos will be available for this project if you want to use them. Of course, as these games get developed and playtested the dynamics of the game may change radically.
If your game requires webspace, I will provide access and space on the department's web server.
