INT. ROOM – DAY
DANIEL (V.O.)
At the end of this movie the
first credit you’ll see will be for the writer and director named
Daniel.
CUT TO:
BLACK SCREEN
The TEXT “Written and Directed
by Daniel Becerra” appears momentarily on the screen.
DANIEL (V.O.)
Does the name ring a bell? Yep, that’s my name too. He believes the shit I just told you as
much as I do. That’s why I exist
in the first place. To show you
what he thinks.
INT. ROOM – DAY
Daniel is found sitting like
before but the camera tracks back to reveal the director behind the
camera filming Daniel.
DANIEL (V.O.)
He’s as fucked up as I am. Of course he’ll deny everything I just
said, but don’t trust him. If you
don’t wanna believe me that’s fine.
After all, I’m merely a fictitious character created for the sake
of this movie. But…
Daniel walks towards the
camera.
DANIEL
Because I dream, I am not.

***SCENE 2***
As Daniel watches this he feels
a tap on his shoulder and turns around.
Before his stands a drunk girl named AMANDA whom he recognizes from class.
AMANDA
Don’t I know you?
DANIEL (V.O.)
She’s probably mistaking me for
one of the guys she was with during last weeks
orgy at the sorority.
DANIEL
Yeah, I’m in your clinical
psychology class.
AMANDA
Are you sure? I swear I’ve seen you somewhere else.
DANIEL
No, I’m in your class. I did that report on the long term
effects of psychosis on patients with paranoid schizophrenia.
AMANDA
No, that’s not it.
DANIEL
Nevermind.
He turns around rolling his
eyes.
She turns him around.
AMANDA
(flirtatious)
Oh c’mon, don’t be that
way. Talk to me.
DANIEL (V.O.)
I want to gouge your eyes out
and kill you.
She gives him a quizzical look.
AMANDA
What?
DANIEL
Uh…You have gorgeous eyes and I
want to kiss you.
AMANDA
Oh, thank you. You’re
sweet. Maybe we can talk a little
more later.
My friend is waving me over.
DANIEL
I’d enjoy that very much.
AMANDA
Ok then. T.T.Y.L.
Daniel fakes a smile as she
leaves and as he turns the other way his face goes deadpan with hatred.
