Players' Guide
Welcome to the conference that plays itself: at 060606, you are both an audience member, a game player and a potential speaker. When you register, you choose to join one of four teams, the Challengers, the Pretenders, the Whirlers or the High Rollers. You also submit a paper copy of your game autobiography. From there, you and your teammates decide how to meet the challenges of the three conference levels, as listed in the schedule below. In Level One, you define your stakes in Serious Games. In Level Two, you share your best advice for serious game design. Finally, in Level Three, you demonstrate your game development know-how by creating a game for our conference participants. You may bring game supplies along, and the conference organizers will provide AV equipment, enough computing power to run a small country, pen and paper, as well as some fine sporting goods. Let the conference begin!
