The Venue and Registration

050505 is held on the 1st floor of Moffitt Library on the UC Berkeley Campus, on the future site of the CNM New Media Commons. The conference is free and open to the public. Registration is required. Pre-registered guests will receive conference nametags as conference access passes. To register for 050505, please send your name, your email and your favorite transition to Selina Lam (selinalam at berkeley dot edu). The registration deadline is May 03, 2005. To propose a presentation for 050505, please send your name, email presentation title, preferred section and an abstract to Meredith Hoy (dragngrl at berkeley dot edu). The proposals deadline is March 15, 2005.

The Organizers

50505 is organized by the Executive Committee of the Center for New Media at UC Berkeley. Maps and Directions

Moffitt Library is located in the center of the UC Berkeley campus. We encourage Public transportation by BART to Berkeley station, since the air is polluted and parking is scarce. A short walk along Kitteredge Street through the West gate of UC Berkeley leads straight to Moffitt Library. The main entrance to the library is on the 3rd floor of the Moffitt Building. Please present a printout of your registration pdf file, the conference registration access pass, to clear security. The temporary pass does not include library borrowing privileges. A stairwell or elevator to the right of the security desk take you down to the New Media Commons.
